The Nebraska Schools Trust was formed for charitable and educational purposes to: assist and promote the improvement and advancement of public education in the state of Nebraska; to aid the public schools of Nebraska in achieving quality education for Nebraska Public School students; to promote the rights of each student under Nebraska's Constitution and laws; and to promote an equal opportunity for each student to meet the academic standards set by state and general law. The Nebraska Schools Trust is currently comprised of three school districts: the Omaha Public Schools, the Grand Island Public Schools and the South Sioux City Community Schools.
